Easy Does It
My name is Brandon Floyd. This is my story of a musical venture in which I have no idea what I am doing. When I was young, I was a bit neglected. I didn't have many friends. To my mother I was a monthly paycheck, to my father, I was an accident that survived the womb. The only that good that came from being neglected and friendless was that I channeled all of my sorrow into learning instruments. I consider myself a jack of all trades, master of none. I learned guitar first inspired by punk rock n roll. I grew up in the Chicago music scene and was very blessed with musician around me to teach me, and humble me. At one point a man named Bryan Gray, the sweetest man in the world who gave his entire life to making music for God, took me aside and taught me how to record on analog equipment.
